Flexibility Training 101 1. We will cover topics of designing a warm up custom to your own bendiness, conditioning, breathing, and executing contortion elements or "tricks" with proper technique. 2. Students will leave getting a new perspective on how to self care when warming up and training, some practical application to new stretches, and helpful flexibility tips on accomplishing new elements for the ground or in the air. 3. This workshop is designed for students of any age. It is recommended children are at least 8/9 years of age in order to work independently. 4. Activities involved include a thorough warmup with conditioning, use of equipment such as yoga blocks, yoga mats, golf/lacrosse balls, folding chairs; a thorough breakdown of bending safety; guided training through skills and elements being covered; Elements or "tricks" that will be focused on include bridges, handstands, elbowstands, cheststands, upper back/ shoulder stretches, hips and hamstrings, splits. This session will be recorded!
