Craig Lewis
Night Owl Circus Arts LLC Owner
TN
Craig Lewis was first introduced to aerial arts through the juggling community in 2010 at San Francisco Circus Center, and went on to pursue further aerial training at Aerial Space in Asheville, and the East Tennessee State University Aerial Dance Program. In 2013, he founded Night Owl Circus Arts (NOCA) in Johnson City, TN, where he teaches aerial silks, acrobalance, juggling, and aerial rigging. Today, NOCA has two locations, 12 instructors, and a professional performance company. Given his prior background in rock climbing and technical caving, Craig was drawn to the rigging aspect of aerial arts from day one. He has received both training, and on-the-job experience in rigging primarily under Dr. Delbert Hall's instruction. He has also taken classes from Brett Copes, Todd Spiering, and Todd Gorham, and has generally pursued every bit of training and information on the topic that he's been able to get his hands on!
