Rachel Ostrow

Rachel Ostrow started doing circus arts at the age of five, transitioned to mostly Junior Olympic Gymnastics, but became more serious about circus around four years ago. Now, she is in the San Francisco Youth Circus where she trains and performs a variety of apparatuses including Lyra, Hoop Diving, Teeterboard, Partner Acro, and more. She has a lot of experience performing at a variety of different venues, and during quarantine, she has been the Director and Producer of ‘Candy Land Circus,’ a virtual show with youth from her program as well as alumni who now work as professional circus performers. Felicity Hesed is a circus director, performer, and educator who works at Circus Center in San Francisco. She has directed numerous production with youth, community members, and professionals, including Circus Center’s "Circus Addiction" and "Circus of Light" as well as "The Tempest: A Magical Circus" and "A Clown Without A Circus" at the Actor’s Gymnasium. Felicity’s solo show "Cara Vita: A Clown Concerto" had just returned from touring to the East coast and London when the Pandemic hit. Early in the Pandemic, Felicity created a sing-along, dance-along circus adaptation of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" as a 5-episode online series. Felicity’s short film "Women in America" has been selected for the Circus International Film Festival this March.
